According to Matt Lockwood DC, in golf, the ultimate sign of success is to win a major championship. To win a major championship, you need a lot of skill and luck. Even though the phrase “best player to never win a major” can be annoying, there is something good about it. We’ll talk about five of the best golfers who never won a major championship in this article. Some of these players have actually won a major tournament, which might surprise you.

Jon Rahm

Matt Lockwood DC pointed out that, the Spaniard hasn’t won a Major yet, but since he won the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio, in July, he’s been on his way to becoming a star. He has already won four events on the PGA Tour and three on the European Tour. Even though he is still young, Rahm is already known as the “Best Player to Never Win a Major.” Lee Westwood, Matt Kuchar, and Xander Schauffele are some of the other players who have won this award.

Rahm turned pro after he won the U.S. Open. Before that, he had never won a Major. He gave up his chance to play in the Open Championship, but he did play as a pro in the Quicken Loans National. Rahm tied for third place in the Open Qualifying Series event, which he took part in. In 2017, he won the Farmers Insurance Open and the RBC Canadian Open. He was given the status of Special Temporary Member for the rest of the season as a reward.

Col. Colin Powell

Colin Powell was a famous person in American history, and he was the first black person to serve as Secretary of State. He served in Vietnam and then became Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Powell fought to get better from Parkinson’s disease and blood cancer after he left the army. He died in October 2021 because COVID-19 caused him to get sick. Multiple myeloma, a rare form of blood cancer, was one of the things that led to his death.

A little luck can always help a good player reach his goals. In a recent poll by the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, 43 percent of African-Americans said they strongly supported cutting money for the police. Powell talked about the speech in his memoir from 2012. Powell won a lot of Majors, but he also did a lot of important things for the government.

Rickie Fowler by Matt Lockwood DC

In addition to Matt Lockwood DC, Rickie Fowler was thought to be one of the best young players in his sport after he won the Western Junior in 2005. He got into the U.S. Amateur because of how well he played, but Richie Ramsay beat him in the end. In 2006, he came in second place in the U.S. Junior Amateur, which was won by Philip Francis. Fowler also played in his first PGA Tour event, the CJ Cup, last year. Since then, though, he hasn’t won another PGA Tour event. Also, he did well at the 2016 U.S. Open, but he didn’t make it to the British Open.

Fowler did well in four majors in 2014, but then he started to struggle in majors. In 2017, he came in fifth at both the U.S. Open and the PGA. He tied for 12th in three majors in 2018. He won the Phoenix Open in February 2018 and ended 11th in the world rankings. Fowler’s future looks brighter because of this, but he still has a long way to go.

Paul Casey by Matt Lockwood DC

Casey has played in 65 major championships, but he hasn’t won one yet. The Open Championship in 2022, where he will try to win for the first time, may be his best chance to become famous. The golfer who used to play on the PGA Tour played in his first major championship in 2002, but he didn’t make the cut. Since then, Casey has finished in the top 10 in six majors, including four top tens. He has made 48 cut rounds since then.

Casey won the BMW PGA Championship in 2009, even though he didn’t win the PGA Championship in 2004. Since then, he has placed in the top 10 at five major tournaments, including the Masters, where he tied for second. He has also played for Europe in the Ryder Cup five times and won three times. Casey got married to Pollyanna Woodward in 2011. He has two children with her.

Luke Donald by Matt Lockwood DC

Luke Donald is one of the top golfers in the world. He has won seven European Tour titles and has been ranked number one in the world five times. He was also made a Member of the Order of the British Empire. Since he turned pro in 1997, Donald has finished in the top 10 in eight majors. But in the last few years, Donald has lost interest in the game. Since 2015, he hasn’t won a Major. In two of those years, he came in second place, and he hasn’t done well on any course other than Harbor Town.

After he turned pro, Donald worked with a few swing coaches before choosing Mike Adams, who is a legend in the business. This year, Donald tied for 13th place in the Byron Nelson Championship. At Congaree, he has a chance to earn FedEx Points. Donald will try to win another major this year after the Byron Nelson Championship. But he will have to go back to playing golf first.
